changing hdd formats with no re-activation

is there a way to 100% clone a gpt formatted ssd drive then format it to mbr and restore it from the backup, or will i have driver / other issues.


i have just re-installed win7 and activated it and never realised the way it formatted it i don't like the 3 extra wierd partitions it created.

It's always going to create those partitions. You could look into Acronis, etc. but it will create those partitions.
