Changing language windows 7 Pro

Been reading a few threads for this and it seems possible but perhaps only on the MSDN:AA download version.
Does anyone know if the MUI install "hack" (I think this is still a "safe" topic as it's just dealing with getting around localisation not pirating software?) works with retail?

I'm after getting windows here for my girls greek brother (everything overpriced in Greece atm).

Ahhhh, nah, was after a UI language change (as available in ultimate, I belive there is a way to "add" this functionality to pro with a little trickery).

As in first post, is for my girlfriends brother (Greek). Tho he can get by in English it's not as easy for him as my lady and his girlfriend (also Greek) doesn't really know much at all.

Pro over there is about 180 euro so was reading around and spotted that it could be done in pro with some work (borrowing the unpack of an MS download before it deletes it and some registery acrobatics).

I guess it's a pretty niche want so i'll have a tinker on a test box.
