Changing MS Office serial number?

OK, first off this is all on a legally owned copy of MS Office 2008!

I just installed Mac for Office on my second laptop, but stupidly didn't realise you have to use the second or third serial number when you do a second install.

Is there any way to change the SN once it's installed, or do I need to drag the App into the trash and reinstall it?

If it's like a typical Mac app it might be stored in a plist file somewhere. Try this in Terminal and have a look at any files it finds.

Did it activate? I know it's not strictly correct but I've done the same thing and had no problems.

Thanks a lot guys! MacRS4, that worked perfectly. Bloody annoying that MS make it hard for you when you've legally bought their cruddy products.
