Changing Names of MSN contacts?

Does anyone know an MSN plugin / app that will allow me to change the names of my MSN contacts to something that I actually recognise rather than the irrelevant junk most people seem to have set as their disply name these days.

Changing the name I see on my contact list to their forum nick, or gamertag is what I'm looking to achieve.

You can do it with MSN Plus, however when you install MSN plus be absolutely sure that you DONT install the sponsor as it is spyware.

The program itself is fine however.

Just found that out! next question, how do you get Messenger Live to minimize to tray, rather than task bar - used to be able to on messenger but can't seem to on Live?

He didn't know that there was an option to chnage names in MSN 8, I didn't for a few weeks before I started fiddling

but as for MSN yeah I used MSN plus but it was horrible

I use trillian only now

Was on an older version that didn't have this option :rolleyes:
