Changing operating system, help?

ok so I have a windows computer, getting a new motherboard, ram cpu. Might get a new ssd.

I have been thInking I want to get away from windows.
I now want apple software, when I built my computer in 2011 it was easy to get hold of but now I can't seem to find it anywhere.

How do I get hold of the software? What is it called?
