Changing path files for My Music and similar?

As above, I'm wanting to partition my music so if I do re-format, I wouldn't have to replace my music.

Now how would I go about changing the path files of My Music, My Pictures and similar?

Start menu > My documents > right-click Properties > Move

To move the entire my docs folder, do as said above. To redirect single folders:

1.) Start, run, regedit

2.) HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Explorer > Shell Folders

3.) Change values of each folder you require redirected
