Changing resolution to a resolution that doesn't exist... (lol)

Hi guys , I have a MacBook with windows 7 on it with the native resolution of 1200x800 (or something lik that - it's the aluminium MacBook).

When playing games like age of mythology and stuff - it has black lines down the side where the resolution stops and need to set the resolution manually to make it work - is it possible to do it in every game?

And of course how do you do it

I remember doing something similar in bf2, had to go In to properties and change a few things.

Well, im not sure if it works for every game but for the bf2 res fix add

 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +1 widescreen +szx 1920 +szy 1200

after the bf2.exe" in the shortcuts target found in its properties.

Changet it to the resolution you want, i just copied and pasted. Hope this helps man
