Changing Screen Res on a Restricted Login

Hi, work has just had a new network installed so all users on the network have been given restricted accounts for now so I do not have a settings tab in the display options panel. Is there another way/utility I can use to change the screen res? 800x600 on a 17" tft is driving me crazy!!!

i doubt you can use a command line but you should be able to create a shortcut and specify what resolution you want that way.

failing that, contact your it department. i'm sure they could at least allow the settings tab so you can change the res. just tell the truth - working at 800x600 is going to severely limit your productivity.
