Changing SSID

Does anyone know if changing the SSID on a wireless access point that uses WPA will require client to re-authenticate with the WPA key? I want to change the SSID on my SpeedTouch 780WL ADSL VoIP Gateway but there are about 9 clients that connect to it and having to re-enter a 64 character key made up of completely random characters is a pain, especially on things like a Wii or PSP.

I'm almost sure it will require the client to re-authenticate with the WPA key. I'm sure I had to do that when I changed my SSID a while back.

Yes it will require you to type the key in again.
