Changing startup tune

As above really; I'd like to change the startup tune but not sure how to go about doing it; is it just a matter of deleting the original and replacing it with something I like?
Any advice gratefully received.

Control Panel >
Sounds and Audio Devices >
Sounds tab >
Select Program event sound you want to change (in your case, this will be Start Windows) >
Click Browse and browse to the song you want to change to, and Open it >
Press Apply and Ok...job done!

Thanks for that mate^ helped me out also, I was wondering how to change system sounds.
