Hi guys,
I am changing the dead bolts/sash locks on my new house as 1) he was here 50 years so god knows who has keys, 2) the garage lock is battered. Can anyone shed any light on how to properly measure these and what the margin for error is?

Second Q - the rear patio door needs a lift up and a pull. The nylon washers have gone. Is there a trick to measuring these and ordering/replacing new ones?
