changing the owners name on a camera

Got myself a 300d off a guy i know last summer and was just looking through a few of my pics using Canons File viewer and its got his name still on it under "owners name" never noticed it before really and i was just wondering if theres a way to change it to my name

It's been a while but I think you need to hook the camera up to your PC then use the EOS Viewer Utility to set the name.

How to add 'Owner Name' to your 300D EXIF info

Set up your camera for remote capture using Canon's Utility ‘Remote Capture'
Once open, connect to your camera
In the ‘Shooting' Dialog box that opens, click on Camera and then Camera Settings
In the Owner's Name field type your name
Take a picture Remotely and either save or delete

All photos taken after this will contain your name in the 'Owner's Name' box of the EXIF info
