Can't really find good info on this we have an opel corsa with the standard opal radio cd player but it's not the same shape as the standard car stereos you buy in the shops.

So what do I need to covert the facia from opels to a bog standard car stereo.

Main reason for this is the wife has an ipod and wants to listen to podcasts through the stereo so looking for a bluetooth car stereo.

I've googled facia plates but they seem expensive for bits of plastic 25-30 quid.

 and I wonder is that all I need or will I need some sort of mounting plate etc.

Anyone else done this with the corsa?

Aye that would be the type.

Probably best to get the garage to do it although few hundred not really worth it for an old bangor corsa... I was hoping to get it done for 150 max. with a cheap stereo in it. It's only for listening to the odd podcast.

if the unit pulls out and there is no crazy cutting dash away then you should just be able to slot in the adapter, cage and new unit nice an easy. For £150 it is perfectly doable.
