Though I know a decent amount about building sites, i'm very inexperienced in regards to hosting. My fiancée's company is looking to change web host to a more secure and stable host.
Currently their hosting needs are just a simple site and then pop 3 email. While they have a host in mind, they're unsure about whether to hire someone to move the site across or just wing it (By they, I mean probably me).
Perhaps one of you guys could quickly run me through the process of moving a domain name to a new host as well as emails. How the emails would have to be re-setup to work in outlook etc? Thoughts/Opinions?
I've moved domain names before (On GoDaddy.com), simply changing the name server address. That's as far as I go though.
