Changing what will give me the biggest gains?

And in what order?
I have:
i7 920@ 4GHZ
Asus P6T
6GB Patriot Viper 1600mhz
Samsung F3 1TB
ATI 5970

Upgrading to 12GB RAM
Upgrading to 2X6970's
Changing to SSD 120GB
Complete swap for i7 2600k system and 12GB Ram (current GPU)
None of the above its all a waste of money?

System mainly used for gaming @ 1920*1200

Upgrading the gpu's would probably have the biggest impact, looking at the comparison chart below:

SSD would help with boot time of the operating system.

Looking at that chart nothing really troubled your 5970, and your have more than enough power from your CPU and ram so personally I would get a SSD.

SSD does make such a difference.. i put one in my laptop and was liek WOW different machine.. My Desktop had one thats been RMA'd and im running on a HDD now feels so much slower
