Changing which partition to boot from.

Fed up with the speed of the hard drive Windows 7 sits on currently, I copied the entire partition (using a partition manager) onto a faster hard drive, but now it won't boot from it. When I view the hard drives on the Windows 7 disk manager it states that my current drive is "Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Logical Drive" whilst the new one is only "Logical Drive" - how can I change this?

I currently have XP installed on another drive, so when my computer turns on I do have the choice between XP and Windows 7, the problem is that it always boots from the original Windows 7. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Under win vista it can be altered from MSCONFIG, should be the same in XP.

Start ---- Run ---- MSCONFIG ---- Open the boot tab ---- Click on the OS you want to boot from at startup and click default.

I didn't manage it in the end, I had to do a fresh install of Windows 7. Not surprising, but I thought I would try a shortcut first =P
