Changing windows explorer side buttons (desktop, recent docs etc)

I know theres a way to change what icons show up on the left from the screenshot below... can anyone enlighten me because i've forgotten?

get "tweak ui" http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

It is then under "common dialogs" -> "Places bar"

Does anyone know if this, or similar is available for vista?
Had a look but can't seem to find anything.
