changing wireless card

Hi

My Lenovo 3000 N200 had an internal Intel 3945ABG wireless card.

I want to change this to an Intel 4965AGN card.

I can see where the wireless card is fitted in my laptop but it seems to have 2wires coming off it which I'm not sure where they go.

What is involved in changing the card to the 4965?

Hi mate, if you look at where the wires connect to the card, they should just pop off. ((shouldn't they?))

the two wires are just the main and backup antenna which usually go around the LCD screen surround. They will pop off the existing card and click back in to the replacement card easily enough.

you need 3 antennas for this card so don't think its possible unless you have 3 in it already.
