Hello all,

Sorry for the simple question as I'm such a novice, but I would really appreciate your help. I have set my wireless connection at my university as a home connection, when really I meant to click 'public'.

How can I change this connection to a public one? I'm runnign Windows 7 professional - Many thanks :)

Should just be a case of going into the network control center (er right click you network connection and click the most obvious looking choice as I can't remember the exact name). In there you should see the network properties and just underneath the network map you should see a place where you can change the network designation.

Apologies for the rough answer, I'm away from my Win7 machine at the moment and this is off the top of my head.
