Changing WOW resolution without being in game?

Does anyone know where the settings to change the wow resolution are?

When i log in at work *ahem* i get a out of sync message on my monitor, so i need to change to a suitable resolution so i can play.

Any ideas?

As i recall its set in wtf\config.wtf which has to be the best file extension ever
