Changing xbl password?

So I boxed up and sold my Xbox One this morning, but I just realised it auto logins as me and I am pretty sure you can buy DLC without typing in the password.

Is there a way I can delete that account so the customer/new owner cannot play as me or purchase things with my bank details?

Change your Microsoft Live password, that should be tied to your Xbox account I think? Whichever way, go to Xbox.com and log in and go to your account settings.

Did you not think to format/reset to factory settings before selling?

How did you set up auto login?

Mine does not do this. It only does it with Kinect.

There's a little check box when you log in iirc.

I'm pretty sure you can manage the devices your account is logged into on the XBL site

edit: have taken a look and it appears not, it's just to manage warranty etc on your devices, doh!

Auto login only worked with Kinect for me too, but there may be an option.

Just change your password and check if there are any registered devises or whatnot and remove them. Shouldn't be a problem.

I've always made a habit of fully resetting any gaming console I send though.

I never used Kinect, but it used to auto login!
