Hi,

Ok I'm posting again, I've got an issue with my xbox, and wonder if anyone knows how to fix it. Downstairs we have Sky TV connected, and upstairts we have a Signal Receiver thingy ma'bob that sends the signal from downstairs upstairs so we can watch sky from there. It also allows us to use the remote upstairs to change channels.

Well whenever my xbox (with wireless) is connected to the power (not even switched on) it interferes with the sky thingy? The sky recevier turns the sky picture upstairs choppy, and makes the sound buzzy, and unwatchable.

So this is obviously the frequencys clashing... can the xbox one be changed? Or is there anything else that can be done to fix it?

Any help will be appreciated!

thanks

Wireless router? You mean my Internet router? My internet router isn't wireless, I've got a wired Router.

I looke4d on the bottom of the receivers for the sky thing, and they have channels 1 to 4, I changed between all of those and it still intefered?

Oh and it says the sky thing uses a 2.4ghz transmitter too... same at the 360 if Im not mistaken?

Pike, I did change the channel on the TV sender... and it still done it?

There is a slider on the bottom of it, channels 1 to 4. I changed the one upstairs to 2 then the one downstairs to 2, got the picture back but it still have the interferance. So done the same with 3 and 4 and still had it? Is that what you done? And what receiver do you have? Is it these ones:

Please help, I cant play the 360 cos I get moaned at otherwise :)

I hadn't connected to live at that point.. barely turned the 360 on. But I just turned it on and connected myself to live, and now downloading Dead Rising demo :)

I'm connected to the internet via my Netgear router... its a wired router, not a wireless. Therefore my 360 is connected to my router via the ethernet cable that came with it.

So obviously I cant change an access point or anything can I? Cos im on a wired router? Is there anything else I can do?

The 360 doesnt have a built in wireless of some sort does it?

Also I think its worth me pointing out, we put the tv transmitter thing on the floor now, and although it flicekrs on screen a bit, its not nearly as bad and it watchable... so moving it does help... sorta? Does this make a diff?
