Channel 4oD Software - Vista - .Net Framework 2.0?

As anyone who has tried to install 4OD on Vista will know, it will not install as it reports you do not have .net Framework 2.0 installed...

Correct, anyone with Vista has 3.0 installed.

Is it possible to "trick" the installer to believing 2.0 is installed?

Can anyone think of a way of getting 4OD installed on Vista?

Is it possible to extract the installer only without the .net framework check?

Any help welcome.

Download & install the .Net 2.0 runtime. This should make the installer believe that it's there, however from what I've found (I have a legacy app which only runs under 1.1) regardless of what's installed, all code will still be executed under .Net 3.0

Tried that, it doesnt work as says .Net needs to be installed using "Programs".
