Chaos Reborn - Julian Gollop's Kickstarter is Live.

Julian Gollop has launched his Kickstarter campaign for Chaos Reborn. For those who don't know, this is the guy responsible for creating games like Rebelstar, Laser Squad, X-Com and the original Chaos.

From the Kickstarter page:

The magic combat system remains true to the original Chaos. It is all about summoning a host of weird and mythical creatures, moving and fighting with them, and using your wizard to attack, defend, buff and de-buff with large array of spells. It is highly tactical and fast paced. But Chaos Reborn expands considerably on this by offering multiplayer modes, a single-player RPG system and co-op play.

I was a massive fan of the original back in the day, and lost more time to it than any other Spectrum game I ever owned.

Loved this game so much as a kid!

I will back it, but it's got a long way to go for that total.

It has indeed, but I think it'll pick up quite a bit once some of the gaming sites stick up a "X-Com creator launchers Kickstarter" headline or two. $11k in under 3 hours on a Monday morning though with little publicity so far - it'll do fine.

Saw this on Polygon this morning, I preferred the original Chaos with a bunch of friends and hot seating it personally but will definitely be backing this though, I think the last new Gollop game I played was on the DS, some squad based tactics game.
