character map+cs ource

Was wondering what character map is and what version do people use to get
different symbols in their cs source names all i can find is some warcraft character map thing with no clue how it works.Any help appreciated.

Go to:

Accories\System Tools\ Character Map

The just copy that and paste as your css name?

No that way just comes out as squares
