Just thought I'd ask here first before I head out... Has anyone seen any charcoal in the major supermarkets?

Such a lovely day, might as well make the most of it and have a barbie!

Petrol stations / Homebase etc. Haven't seen it in my local supermarket just yet, but then I haven't been particularly looking.

Our local asda has the whole summer aisle out

I bought a pallet load with my dad last year, i think I have 30 bags left and we paid £2.50 a 6kg bag for charcoal not briquettes, will probably do the same next year or the end of this year

most petrol stations will probably have some , virtually every poundshop will have the throwaway bbq's etc

wilkinsons probably have some in aswell around the gardening area

It could just be my local, but Sainsburys don't have any in stock. B&Q do though!

Just bought myself a trailer load of mixed seasoned fruit woods; I'm going up another level from charcoal this year

Went to ASDA, and they didn't have any out. Though it's in a right scummy part of town so the police probably don't allow them to sell ignitable products.

Got some! Woo first bbq of the year tonight! Nothing too exciting though, don't want to peak to soon Homemade lamb burgers (to go in ciabatta with tzatziki, hummus and salad) and sausages. YUM!
