I called them a month ago about something unrelated to my broadband to be told i need a new modem, ok send me one i said and i will install it my self (just as i did with the last one)and how much is that i asked - free i was told. I get my bill today and ive been charged £25 for the modem install ( which i dont even have as its not been delivered)........so i have been charged for a modem install that didnt take place, a modem i dont have and ive been waiting almost a month for the elusive modem to arrive ! Now hows that for good customer service - NOT !

Not to sound like a mug or anything but why don't you just give them a call?

The person behind the phone you spoke to probably booked an engineer to come out to you with the modem who knows, I'm sure a phone call would sort it out ;). I've had few problems with VM but in all fairness, when I get one, I phone, and it gets sorted. :)

I intend to give them a ring, come 08:00 i will be straight on the phone - just wanted to have a rant thats all :) Not really much i can do 5am ;)

Tbh if i hadnt of been charged i wouldnt have cared less how long the modem had taken to come as the one i have is working fine with no problems at all - i only agreed to get a replacement as the agent i spoke to said i needed one.

Heh, we all need a good rant every now and then :P. When I phoned up about wireless internet they sent me out a netgear router with no issue, well, besides trying to explain to some guy who didn't speak English what I wanted :)
