slight dilema, been asked to produce a basic site for a local radio station that is running for three weeks with the potential of going full time.

while i am quite computer literate my web dev skill is limiting to say the least.
i prefer to hand code via reading tutorials and trying out my self but its a very slow process.

the station is being funded and part of me wants to say hell yeah gimmi your monies but the other part wants me to go look lads im not that great at web coding il nock up something basic and if you want you can throw me a donation

if i was to charge what would be acceptable for a static site probably fairly basic looking, with the usual sort of sections:
home, news, photos / multimedia, contact, links

may also try throwing in some sort of live chat via a java applet or similar

Main issue I would struggle with is how professional it looks without being too bland...

If you think you could make it good then take the monies otherwise I'd probably say I don't want payment... :p

In this sort of situation, I would basically say to them that I will make a basic website for you for nothing. If you go pro, I will do a website and work out a charging scheme.

If you want to chat more in-depth feel free to email me, or add me on MSN. Might have some good tips for you. Details in trust.
