charities that collect old IT kit?

anyone know of a good charity that collects old IT kit for free?

have a truckload going spare and would like to see it go to something worthwhile.

hmm all these places want to charge me to give them my stuff, great charities. i cant find anyone who will pick them up for free.

If it is in working order, a nearby University might want it and pick it up. We done this at my old work and they happily came for it.

There was a great one advertised around here not long back. They wanted to collect old computers for the homeless. :confused:

Not to sound like a tool, but where is a homeless person going to put a PC?

Makes more sense if they want to use them in a hostel-type environment.

apparently by law they now need to be weee certified, this is turning into a mare.
