Hi All

Im sorry if this is the wrong forum. Please feel free to move it if necessary.

I have recently bought a shiny new laptop with a webcam built in. When I am working away I thought it would be cool if I could connect to home and chat with my wife. I have tried searching the net for webcam chatting but that brought up some very un-savoury results.

It may sound old fashioned but I would just like to chat to my wife :)

Could anybody recommend some software that I could use for this?

Thanks in anticipation.

My parents often webcam with us as a way of seeing their grandson more often - we've found skype to be a bit iffy at times whereas MSN is always rock steady.

The two best webcam conf. programs that I have come across are VSee and ooVoo, both are free and should you so wish you can have up to six different parties in you webcam conf....I reckon both of these are better than Skype and MSN..

Can live messenger users talk to skype users through their native software? Or is it skype > skype and msn > msn only?
