Hi all, I have a whs 2011 in an old antec p182 case (must be well over 10 year old ) that just sits in a cupboard and have decided to upgrade the fans from the oem, so I am looking for recommendations for 4x120 case fans 3 or 4 pin (mb has 4 pin pwm)what ever is recommended ?
Thanks

I fitted a pair corsair ml120 fans to mine. Non RGB, and a balance between static pressure and flow. I really can't complain about them at all. Can't hear them at low speeds and a nice flow when running.

Thanks for the suggestions will strip it down and give it a good clean, although not much in there after so many years and then see on Monday what to order

Are you sure that the motherboard's 4-pin headers are PWM control? Most motherboard's system fan headers from those times just run them at full 12v. If not 100% sure, go for fans that don't have very high max RPM.

I have an Arctic P120 (exhaust) and a couple of P140's. They replace the Pure Wings 2's that came with a Be Quiet Pure Base 600 case. I bought them after reading the discussions here. They're much quieter than the Pure Wings and are doing a better job of cooling the system. I just hope they'll last. Depending on how many fan pins your mb has you could consider the PST versions of the Arctics. They were about the same price and allow you to daisy-chain 2 at a time without buying a separate cable.
