Cheap 4k 75" TV or full HD projector

Have a wall in the media room that can accomadate (just) a 75" TV or a 72" projector screen.

I have wiring in the ceiling for a projector.

I was going to go down the projector route and was intending to buy a 1080 projector suitable for gaming.

But I have seen a 75" 4k TV for a bit more than I would be spending on the projector screen etc. It's a Cello C75ANSMT-4K for a bit under £1300. Given I can't go any larger on the projection screen any opinions as to whether the TV would be a good option? Can't see any reviews online other than a few consumers ones.


Budget won't alow for a much more expensive TV and I really want a large 70"+ display either tv or projected.

Will be used for films and gaming.

Room can be totally shielded from light so no issues there using a projector.

Saw that thread but I'm a bit more constrained size wise so it's not 100" + projector screen vs TV it's cheap 4k 75"tv vs 1080 projector of about the same size.

At that size I would go for a TV, and I'm a huge projector fan. 72" Is not enough to be worthwhile, but equally ~1500 isn't enough for a 'good' 4k TV at that size. Depends how much of a stickler you are for PQ vs Size, a cheap set may do it for you aslong as you don't want good HDR performance.
