Recently built a mate a system using this board :

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

and e2200 with stock cooler.

The board's a bit thinner than usual & the pins aren't holding too well, resulting in temps about 20 higher than they should be.

For peace of mind, I'd rather get a bolt through - cooler.
The system will be running at or near stock speed, so I'm just after the cheapest I can get, any cheaper suggestions than this ? :

Cheers.

Yeah looks good mate, the Zalman 7000-Cu I had was sound as a pound and very secure. (this was on an AMD board but the mounting system is similar)

OK, looks like my thinking was along the right lines. Thanks for your help. The Tower is probably the least suitable for my criteria but thanks anway ;)

Pick up a second hand thermalright XP-120 or XP-90 and get the 775 adaptor kit, only about £4.

I did that in my machine with a XP-120, cost me £15 in total :)
