Cheap 7900GT replacement?

Yeah my old 256Mb 7900GT is dying and I`m looking for a cheap replacement with roughly the same performance (as my CPU is quite slow for games anyway >> AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+) Cheers

yeah PCI-E, but it`s only a temp replacement just for a while so wouldnt wanna spend more than ~£30. Res is usually 1024x768 for me with medium settings for most newer games. I was thinking about these

Correct me if I'm wrong here anyone, but wouldn't the 7900 be more powerful then an 8400?

Anyway, for the res you play at an 8400 should be fine. I don't know enough about ATI I'm afraid, but I bet that would be fine too.

I reckon on saving that £30 mate as you will not see any improvement for a sub £30 card, only DX10 but you will have trouble playing these games anyway with a budget card

Look for a used 8800GS...or X1950 pro at least

4670 or something second hand psu depending
