Cheap 8MB ISP Recommendations Please - UKFSN Or Fast4?

I've come the the conclusion, that £35 for Virgin XL can't really be justified now, even though it's a superb ISP and going to 20mb.

I've read on here about UKFSN, but also heard about Fast4.net, £15.95 per month, no restrictions at all, no 12 month contract.

I should be able to get 5.5mbps on my line, although I am fairly realistic and expect 3.5mbps +, a big, soon to be huge drop, but nearly a score less each month.

Anyone have any experience with Fast 4, or would UKFSN be the safer option.

imo, Fast4 seems rather too good to be true. Although they do seem highly rated on DSLZone. http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.php#

Yes I have just noticed these no info on thinkbroadband about them, anymore sites or any people got experience with them as I am quite interested too.

Probably a stupid question, but it states no newsgroup access, does that mean no they don't have one themselves or they block Newsbin etc?

Not too sure, it could mean either, more than likely that they don't offer their own though.

Ok this part of Fast4 T & C's is concerning me:

1.14 "Exit Fee" means that in the event that you wish to move providers or cancel the service provided to you, within the first 12 months you will be liable to pay a fee equivalent to the connection fee that you would have paid if the service had not been offered with free connection. These fees are currently £85 including VAT for new connections and £20 including VAT for migrating in customers.
