Cheap AMD mobo that has proper AGP and takes DDR2?

I've got 2x1gbs DDR2-667 lying around and will hopefully be getting my RMA'd Asus X800XT-PE AGP8x card back soon. I've also got a 400w PSU and a couple of stock coolers for AMD64 and LGA775. I'm possibly looking to build a cheap gaming rig as a backup machine, or to sell on fleabay, depending on what frame of mind I'm feeling in (or my bank balance dictates).

Can anybody recommend an AMD AM2 board that (obviously) takes DDR2 but has a proper AGP port (and possibly a PCI-e for future upgrade)? Does such a device actually exist?

I've seen the posting about the new Core 2 Duo compatible Asrock VSTA board that has both PCI-X and AGP slots and takes DDR 2, but I want to take advantage of the cheap prices of AMD chips at the mo really.

Mind you, having said that the Intel Pentium 4 805 Dual Core's are only £70 on OcUK. How would one of those compare to e.g. an Athlon64 3200+ in day to day usage and gaming for example?

This is all academic really as it depends upon whether I get my X800XT-PE back - you never know, OcUK/Asus might offer me the option to have something else if it's too borked, in which case I'd get a decent PCI-e card. Thats happened to a few peeps here apparently.

Asrock AM2NF3-VSTA maybe?

NF3 250, Socket AM2, AGP 4x/8x, DDR2 800, SATA I, SATA RAID, ATX

Ooh. Just the ticket. Trust Asrock :)

Still, I might consider going with the Asrock 775DUAL-VSTA with a Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core as it works out pretty similar price-wise to getting the Asrock AM2NF3-VSTA with an Athlon64 3200+ - unless someone tells me that that is a really bad idea and I'd be better off sticking with AMD for this cheap gaming rig.

It's just that 'Dual Core' would look good in a fleabay advert ;)
