What do you guys recommend? Quick look so far throws up the Samsung A7 Lite or the Lenovo M10 4GB which is £120 at the moment on Amazon/Argos. Except Amazon Fire 10", don't want that heavy Amazon skin on top. Prefer a more normal android experience.

Sub £150.

S6 lite, 2022 version, maybe available around £160.

That'll be a better option than the others mentioned.

Looks like £250 new online.

I need a new one really as it’s a gift, used would be fine if I can passed as new but that’s risky.

Hey Raymond I'm looking for something similar for my daughter to play Roblox on, so I'll watch this thread with interest.

I've shortlisted the Lenovo M10 plus (3rd gen) and also the honor x9. Not sure if a headphone port would be a strong requirement for your recipient but it's worth pointing out that the x9 does not have one whereas the M10 does.

Yeah, I have noticed the headphone thing….i guess I could throw in a cheap pair of usb-c headphones with it, or even Bluetooth ones. Don’t need £100 ones.

I've had the honor pad x9 for few months now , very happy with it mostly watching streams and browsing the net and 120hz screen

The one negative would be it doesn't come with charger all my chargers charge it at 11w, you need it's own to get the 22w or the right output

£139.99

Oooh, thanks for the input.

So it does not come with a charger at all?

And does it come with any headphones? if not, do you know if a USB-C headphones will work on it?

Went for the Honor X9, don't need to get a charger as she already has a 80w one. Bought a case and cheap USB-C headphones from Amazon. Job done!

Thanks all.

How fast does it charge ? It needs to be certain output 65w I got with phone only charges tablet at 11w , the maximum the tablet can charge is at 22w but for that you need one that's compatible

I don't know, but the device should draw the max that it can and not more. So a 80w charger won't charge at 80w, which is fine. It wil be better than pulling 5w from a phone charger. My concern is that she doesn't have anything over 5w, but she does so I don't need to get one.

It's gonna likely charge at 11w does take while to charge, the tablet supports 22w maximum but that's with the honor charger unless you have one that supports the output doesn't matter if it's 80w, Shame they didn't include one

Output: 5V⎓2A,9V⎓2A,10V⎓2.25A Max

HONOR SuperCharge Power Adapter (Max 22.5W) White

Ah thanks, i will save the link but wait to confirm if she is happy with the charging speed first i think.
