Cheap back and front (L/R) speaker stands

I dont like the idea of paying 30 quid for speaker stands from places in the town and stuff. So was woundering if anyone knew where to get some cheap. Like say a pari for £10 or somit.

I doubt ocuk sell these so i hope they allow named shops on this topic to help me find a good place to buy some.

Failing standing speakers, if anyone knows any wall mountable ones perhaps that swivel up down left and right would be great, oh and has a screwable bottom so speakers are on securely or somit.

ive been on the hunt for a while now.
to be honest your bes bet is carboot sales and markets.
theyre far too overpriced !!!

i had an idea involving a washing line supprt lol height adjustable, cheap as chips and very nicely finished.
do you know a welder ?
 
If i had some wood i'd build some simple ones lol. Hmm how much would 1m long 3 inch width 1 cm depth, planks cost i wounder. ;)

Prefer some cheap metal ones tho nothing fancy just somit that keeps my speaker at a height behind me and front sides.
 
yea... speaker stands would cost me more than the speakers themselves !
as a result i screwed them straight into the wall behind me ( well screwed the little table stands they come with onto the wall) works a treat.... although i never use them anymore now ive got a headset :(
still tyhough... carbnoot sale remains the best place to look !!!
 
I would never buy earphones/headset cos of the damage it does to ** hearing if too loud plus they will never be as good as speakers aorund a room or 2.1 as u wont have a sub in em lol.
