Hello guys, my boss is asking me to throw a pc together for his work main uses is mainly just Emails, Browsing, Photo editing (not extreme amounts) Pretty much in need of everything minus the monitors keyboard and mouse, I was also going to put a radeon x1800 XT in from my spare parts just to make the build slightly cheaper I also have a old 230v power supply here, how ever im not sure if that will be worth putting in.

So anyways if you don't mind spec me a rig under 200 pound, cheaper the better xD

thanks guys.

If cheaper is really better:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte GA-J1800N-D2H Intel Celeron J1800 2.41GHz Dual Core Mini ITX Motherboard £49.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £41.99
1 x OcUK Value Quartz Micro Black Interior 500W 12cm Black Psu £31.99
1 x Corsair 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz 204-Pin SODIMM Module (CMSO4GX3M1A1333C9) £31.99
Total : £169.46 (includes shipping : £11.25).

Can't really upgrade much, except to add another 4GB of (SODIMM) memory. And PSU that comes with case will likely die sooner rather than later. I hear Windows 8 is a must for this motherboard by the way. Apparently other OS' do not work with it. Haven't tried for myself to know for sure.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £41.99
1 x Asus H81M-PLUS Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £40.99
1 x Intel Celeron G1820 2.7GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £31.99
1 x SuperFlower Amazon 300W "80 Plus Bronze" Power Supply £26.99
1 x TeamGroup Elite 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Single Channel Module (TED34GM1600C1101) £23.99
1 x Zalman T2 Plus Mini-Tower USB 3.0 - Black £19.99
Total : £195.54 (includes shipping : £8.00).

More upgradable. Better PSU. Motherboard has mid-board USB 3.0 for case's ports, and a spare memory slot for another 4GB stick. Any Windows version should work.

To be honest, it may be worth looking at a cheap laptop and hook it upto the keyboard and monitor.

Hey guys thanks for the reply, had a look at the rigs hes not going to go for the laptop idea, does not like the idea of it he already has a laptop that he uses for his house ect, the computer is pretty much going to sit and idle for long periods of time.

I've never used the Intel Celeron much before at all, how will this run for example, photoshop with a web browser, will it have any issues loading up ect.

i'm swaying towards the last two builds there, only because I've used some of these parts in previous builds, minus the two processors and i now they are reliable.

So looking at the previous two builds, what would you guys recommend...

PS this rig wont be getting upgraded in the future (unless something burns out)

as for windows, i will just install the previous copy of windows he has, he has windows 8 on his laptop and cant stand it..

cheers for your time guys. really appreciate it!
