I need to house a large number of 3.5" drives (x14 as well as 2x SSDs) and am wondering what the cheapest option for this would be?
If anyone has any suggestions on cases that provide a similar amount of storage or any alternative routes I would greatly appreciate it.
FYI I already have a Corsair 200R (which can house 4x 3.5" drives and then I'd have to buy adaptors for the 3x 5.25" slots) and would be open to the option of getting a second case/another piece of hardware just for drives if this makes things significantly cheaper.
P.S. in the meantime I am running a number of HDDs out of the back of the case (on the desk). I am concerned that it might be dangerous to use these drives without a fan?
