Cheap Cat6 in bulk kit - traps?

A friend recommended running some string, usually two bits with loops on the end in case you want to run an extra cable in the future. You just tie the cable to the string and pull.

Cheers - just to clarify, when I say conduit, I mean conduit embedded under the floor and in the wall - hopefully fat enough that if I ever need to add cables I can just pull them through without digging everything up.

Note to self - Leave some string in the conduit to help with future pull through!

All my cabling runs under the upstairs floor. The cables then go either up or down from there. For the walls I used the bigger sizes of the oval conduit you can get. Under the floor it's mainly just laid on the plasterboard of the downstairs ceiling.

If you want to be able to add or replace cables later make sure you use straight runs and have access to both ends.

That's a really good deal - thanks for that! Unfortunately my install has completely stalled as the builder is 'less-than-helpful' - but I will be getting it done at some stage so nice to have a good source :)
