Hey

Just wondering if you guys are up for a challenge, Im after the cheapest Core2Duo setup you guys can create inc tower, hdd, psu, dvd-rw for as cheap as you can get it. It will be used mostly for internet, watching dvd's and modern games (on default settings, not going to turn settings up)

Its for a family member who's cash is low, get speccing hehe lets see who can get the best value for money.

The "modern games" bit pushes the price up abit. That should handle just about every game out on medium/low settings. Overclocked it should be fine on medium, although you would need an aftermarket cooler for a decent OC.

 

[semi-pro waster]

This would be my choice although a little less capable for games than Jaffa_Cakes due to the graphics card.
