Cheap easy to maintain bike (CBT noob)

Going to finally get around to doing my CBT. I’m looking for a cheap 125cc bike that’s easy to maintain. Something for short commutes to work (14 miles) and Sunday rides.

I like the look of the Suzuki Marauder J

If you like the look of the Suzuki Marauder J then maybe also consider the Honda Shadow 125 if you can get your hands on one for a decent price.

Honda cg125 probably simplest/best bike ever made.

Look after one of those well, reckon it would last longer than you ever will.

It's no frills though.

This. Cost pennies to run and can be repaired with a hammer.

The replacement was the CBF125 which is also tough as an old boot. The replacement of that is the CB125F. The placement of the F is fairly significant, the latest model is made in India and it shows compared to the old one.
