Cheap FX55 floating about - Are you going to stock?

I was wondering if you guys can source the cheap FX55 that are floating about in the USA. A big site there has them for £107 inc a free HDD, but shipping is a pain.

Any chance of you getting them?

i've seen about 2.9-3 on air...about the same as most san diegos

Well the FX-55 San Diegos are selling for 139 usd at the site i used to get everything from in the states.

(glad i found somewhere like ocuk....was scared i wouldn't find a reliable/great supplier over here!)

Just like the OP said, shipping is a pain, but damn some cheap FX-55's out there. Was looking to get a 939 x2 chip as my next upgrade as I dont wanna change mem/mb for awhile yet.
Now I have my sights on one of these FX-55 San Diago's :cool:

The price ranges are crazy though, from $140 up to $900, guess some are still trying to unload them at the original sell price.
Dought OcUK could source these at a good price, and there current 939 cpu prices leave a lot to be desired

My FX55 is a clawhammer. and the max speed i can get out of mine if 2.78, and the idel temp is 31c with the stock heatsink/fan. If I overclock it any higher then that, prime95 fails

i bought an opty 148 for £60, its running quite hapilly at 2.85Ghz.

i thought it was a bargain myself.

p.s., about those AMD price cuts... i think youl need a large tub of salt to go with that report.

Erm that's an official list from AMD themselves, not an Inq opinion. Some US retailers have already applied the new prices.
