Cheap Gaming capable laptop

I don't have the money for the really good dedicated gaming laptops so I'm wondering if there is a compromise.
I'm gonna be away from home for work for a few months, likely til autumn and I'd like to play the odd game on my downtime.

Is there something cheap-ish new or used for under £600 that could easily run the likes of Rocket League and do a reasonable job on something like GTA or Assassins Creed or am I mad and need double that?

You may get an I7 with GTX 980M secondhand around that budget if you look in the members market or ebay.

dell 7559 would be a good call, it's quite a capable little laptop and was only about £700 when it was a new model in 2016.
might get some good deals on them nowadays ?

I just saw a refurbished one for £729.99 so it's still outta my price range.
