£430 is what it is going for

basically it is just for playing world of warcraft possably lord of the rings on line and might try star craft 2 though i think it might not handle it

all so if it is not pushing the asking for more help to much where do you get a decent backpack/rucksack for such a machine

This may give you some idea what to expect. That is an awfully big screen to try and satisfy with that GPU. CPU and RAM are not bad but Vista will make very poor use of them, Win7 would be better on your resources.

Well it's cheap no doubt, is it used or refurb or something?

Things to be aware of - it's not gonna be very portable with an 18" screen, might want to check how much it weighs too, and yes the resolution will be an issue with that video card. Should get playable framerates with WoW but you might have to turn a few settings down and framerates might struggle in busy areas.
