Cheap gfx card

Hmm..did you ask the guy how much he'd charge (if anything) to let you borrow his card(and internet connection I assume) while you're there and let you update it?

Yup same never updated the bios before tho dunno how and where to find a update I need

If the following link is your mobo then you'll find bios updates there on the support & downloads tab..tho they don't seem to be very recent so might not cover the recent titan card. You may also find a utility to download for updating your bios there.

People are spending insane amounts of cash on a titan graphics card?? I need a better job :\

#26: Yea it is you just use Gigabytes BIOS update tool. However I recommend you download the BIOS to your PC first instead of running the update directly via the internet... that is not recommended.

Don't update from inside windows, the risk of damaged bios flash is very high. Download the bios file and enter the bios they will be there own flash utility in there.

I've been doine BIOS updates via windows for the last 10 years (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Asrock) - due to the fact I before experienced bad BIOS flashes via the old' floppy drive method.... I never had a bad flash doing it from windows (knock on wood and 7-9-13). Just close all unnecessary background programs before you flash, and you're good to go ;)

Out of all the times I hear people say PC wont boot after flashing BIOS, I then ask them how you flash, they say Windows.

I wouldn't risk it. Its much easy to boot into BIOS and flash and more save anyway.

Glad you been good all this time but if I was you I would quit now while your ahead :D

Can't seem to get pc to boot from disc to install windows just says reboot and select proper device. Or insert media in selected boot device and press a key
