Cheap/Good quality VOIP provider?

Sipgate and voipfone are the two I have used in the past with no problems.
Currently playing with Freespeech which so far (only a week and a bit of use) its been good.

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but is the concensus that Skype is not that great?

Also, are there any which dont require I use a phone and can just use my PC microphone?

www.internetcalls.com 4 months for 10 Euros plus vat Free calls to most mainline countries inc UK (but only 5 hours a week) At the end of the 4 months any money not used for mobiles and 0845 numbers can be used up at the going rate - then another E10. I also have an incoming number normal incoming in Leicester - which was free when I joined but I believe only costs round 1 Euro. Check it out. I have a bogstandard telephone plugged into my Thompson 780WL speedtouch router. Excellent clarity and reliability, within the uk - OZ/NZ/USA - I use nothing else. Course one can make free calls from anywhere one has a wifi connection (McDonalds in the UK OZ ) and of course receive incoming calls anywhere in the World - using a netbook or N95 etc
There is no service if it goes kaput then it not possible to make reasonable contact with internetcall.com But then aint never had no probs over the several years that I have been using them. Oh no contract
