Right, decided now that with all the M-way hiking I'm doing it's time to sort myself a nice cheap GPS unit.....

Now there seems to be a lot of Tomtom kit on the 'bay but I'm unfamiliar with the models etc..

I have a budget of about 150 quid, it'll be second hand because I have no justification to buy a new one, it'd just be something nice to have.

Any recommendations? Not fussed by either integrated or PDA solutions, voice alerts would be good mind.

Ta! :D

I'm browsing a few Medion units, almost bought one of them new! So I'll watch and see, seem to go for 100 inc cradle, charger, card w/maps and integrated GPS.

Well, solved that one - needed a new phone too, so my friend hooked me up with a NIB Orange SPV C500, I then got a bluetooth GPS unit, car cradle and 512mb mini CF! :D

Bargaintastic!

Am now!

Many thanks to you rG for your help! :) :cool:

<edit>

That's cool, but I'm a fan of staying off contracts :)

For the time being, at least :D
