Cheap GPU for Youtube etc...

Can anyone tell me which of these cards would be best for general use - no gaming.
My PC is a Packard Bell phenom x3 with a non branded mobo (bought from the purple shirts about 4-5 years ago).
It does me fine for general web browsing etc.. but I wondered if a cheap gpu would allow me to watch you-tube vids in full screen with a decent picture.
My monitor is 21.5" widescreen - nothing fancy.

Also - do any of them require a separate power supply because im not sure that option is available.

Thanks in advance.

Also, would one of these help with Autocad.

I haven't a clue...it won't be anything good though and probably not much spare wattage.
I'm sure the purple shirts don't give you extra.
I'm at "work" and can't check - was just trying to not miss out on a good deal.

Just get the 6670, as that does`nt require any extra power and is the next best after the 450.

Watching YouTube videos isn't particularly demanding on a graphics card...can your current PC not cope?

If it's the image quality that's the problem I would have thought that's limited by your internet connection speed and the quality of the YouTube video itself that's to blame...

Image quality is OK for default screen but awful when enlarged.
I use sky unlimited broadband with the wireless adapter and always have full signal.

When you say "awful", can you be more specific? Do you mean that the frame rate drops and it goes jerky? Do you mean that the general image quality is poor?

A new GPU won't fix image quality problems with Youtube as they compress the hell out of videos. It may fix frame rate issues in 1080p mode.

Image quality is poor - kind of blocky.
I can only dream of 1080p. Most vids load OK at 360p but are blurry at full screen.
I'm probably barking up the wrong tree but hey ho !

360p videos blown up to full screen will always be blocky.
WHat happens when you try 1080p or 720p mode on videos that support it? You say you can only dream of it but have you tried it?

To be honest, looking through the sales items it may be worth me buying a cheap athlon and mobo.....I don't know now.
I will have a rethink and post speedtest results.
Thanks.

After building my first PC a couple of weeks ago I can't stop picking parts and making potential builds...I'm kinda hooked.
Damn you sales for tempting me.
Thanks for your time.

I've ordered the 6670 anyways as I can always add it to my sons new build in crossfire with the A10 6800K APU if nothing else.
Are there any reasons this won't work ?

Indeed.

Is not the GPU but the broadband connection speed. the A10 alone could be fine for that job.
